Location

Travelling by Train

Oxenholme is the mainline station for Kendal and there are trains to Kendal town centre every hour. Buses 41, 41a and 44 run from the station and the bus stop is situated on the main road ( opposite side of the station to the ticket office). Taxis can be found outside the station, by the ticket office. Oxenholme is approx 3 miles from 144 Windermere Road.


Directions from the South:
Leave the M6 at Junction 36, follow signs for Kendal A590/A591 and join the dual carriageway. Continue for 8/9 miles. Pass the A6 sign for South Kendal and head towards Windermere, until you reach a big roundabout. Take the 3rd exit towards Kendal. You are now on Windermere Road. Drive until you reach the houses. Look for the sign for Ardrig Vegetarian on the right hand side and the pedestrian island in the middle of the road. Turn right into the driveway of No. 144 and park.


Directions From the North:
Leave the M6 at Junction 38, Tebay and take the A685 towards Kendal. As you enter Kendal you’ll come to a small roundabout, turn right and go past Kendal Railway Station. Follow the road around, go over the river and straight through 2 sets of traffic lights. Follow the road round and up hill on to Windermere Road. Ardrig Vegetarian is on the left hand side and you’ll see our sign. Turn into the driveway of No. 144 and park.
